9/11 Interfaith Peace Walk: 20 Years of NYC Faith Communities Building Peace
Thursday, September 9, 2021, 5:00–7:00 pm
Join Rabbi Mo Salth and Rabbi Hilly Haber for an interfaith peace walk commemorating the 20th anniversary of 9/11. We will stop briefly at houses of worship (including St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Central Synagogue, The Islamic Society of Mid-Manhattan, Hope Church Midtown, and the Manhattan Sikh Center) for prayers, short speeches from faith leaders, and expressions of solidarity against injustice, hate, and discrimination.

Central Havdalah in Memory of the Victims of 9/11
Saturday, September 11, 2021, 8:00–8:30 pm
Join Rabbi Nicole Auerbach and Student Cantor Jenna McMillan for havdalah as we mark the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. The Central community will come together to honor the memory of the victims and support one another as we remember the tragedy that left an indelible scar on our beloved city. Immediately following havdalah, we invite you to join us for the Virtual Peace Vigil (see below).

We invite you to join us at a virtual commemoration of 9/11 where we will honor all that came after, including the many activists who stand up for Muslim, Black Lives, and immigrants' rights, and against anti-Asian hate, Islamophobia, and antisemitism.
