Go beyond the “what” of Jewish ritual and practice, and investigate the “why.” Using a new curriculum by the Shalom Hartman Institute, this class will analyze such questions as: “What is the system of mitzvot (commanded actions) trying to accomplish?” “What are our obligations to others, to God, to the collective?”
