For each of the five major holidays in 2021-2022, we will be offering ONE conversation with ONE fascinating teacher to unpack the holiday’s meaning and contemporary resonance. Abby Pogrebin (journalist and congregant) returns as our host as we explore Hanukkah, Purim, Passover and Shavuot together.

For Purim, Dr. Elana Stein Hain joins Abby for a deep-dive into Purim, focusing on a question faced by Queen Esther that continues to resonate today: When do we conceal—and when do we reveal—our Jewishness?
