High Holy Days 2021 & Updated Worship Policies

Our ability to be together in person for services—Shabbat as well as the High Holidays—will always be guided by the most up-to-date medical information from federal, state, and city authorities, as well as from our committee of expert lay leaders. Given emerging data on the Delta variant, the COVID Task Force has made the unanimous recommendation to require masking of all worshipers at all services, regardless of vaccination status.

The Holiness Code: Torah Reflections From Central Members (5781/2020)

On Yom Kippur afternoon we read a section of the Torah known as the holiness code. This section, found in chapter 19 of Leviticus, is at the heart of the Torah and contains some of the most moving commandments within our tradition.
