Becca Greenspan is the Family Engagement Coordinator and Assistant Director of the Lese Center for Living Judaism, Grades Pre-K–2, at Central Synagogue. Becca works closely with the Youth and Family Engagement Department to plan curriculum and programs that connect families and students to Judaism and the Central community in a variety of ways. Originally from Wisconsin, she attended the Milwaukee Jewish Day School and was an active member at her JCC. Becca graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BS in cross-categorical special education and certificate in Jewish studies. She later earned a master’s degree in special education from the University of Texas at Austin. While in college, Becca worked as a religious school and preschool teacher, and spent her summers as an inclusion counselor at a Jewish camp. Prior to joining the Central community in 2018, Becca worked as a special education teacher and department chair in Austin, Texas. In her free time, Becca can be found going for walks with her dogs, cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers, and trying new restaurants.
